Most folks are arriving on Wednesday or Thursday. If you’re coming in on Wednesday and want to join a few of us in Rapid City for dinner, please let Dave or Alethea know.

Thursday, October 10, 2024

Dave and Alethea will be boarding Juno & Doug in the morning and making their way to Deadwood by midday.

Everyone is invited to the rehearsal dinner at 6:00pm at the Deadwood Social Club, at 657 Main Street in Deadwood (above Saloon #10).

Friday, October 11, 2024

The wedding is at 3:00pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 401 Williams Street, Deadwood.

Wild West or Victorian attire for the wedding and reception is encouraged but not required—please come as you are.

Immediately following the service, we will walk over to the Martin & Mason Hotel at 33 Deadwood Street for the reception and dinner.

Cocktails and light snacks will be served from 4:00-5:30 pm, followed by dinner, then music, dancing, and open bar until 11:00pm.

Following the reception, the party can move to one of downtown Deadwood’s many nearby saloons.

Saturday, October 12, 2024

Shoot-out at high noon?

Panning for gold?

Poker tournament?

Burnouts in the Cybertruck?

Moonshine-fueled shenanigans?

We’re trying to arrange a 30-person party bus from 10:00am-4:00pm to visit several of Deadwood’s nearby attractions. Tentatively, we’re planning stops at Mount Moriah cemetery, lunch at Chute Rooster in Hill City, Mount Rushmore, and finally Miner Brewing if we have time left.

Sunday, October 13, 2024

Brunch at a location TBD, likely the Lee Street Station Cafe inside the Martin & Mason hotel. (There are several other nearby options if Lee Street Station can’t accomodate us.) Dave and Alethea will stake out a few tables and folks can come and go over the course of the morning, depending on flight schedules.

Most people are leaving on Sunday. If you’re sticking around, we’ll probably try to find somewhere—likely back in Rapid City—to watch the Raiders beat the Steelers. The game starts at 2:05pm.
